The Doll-Knitting Granny

Granny Goldsmith, as told to C.B. Gavant

Then one day, about 17 years ago, I was visiting my children inAustralia and my daughter said, “Ma, why don’t you try to knit a doll?” By then I was retired and had more free time, so the idea appealed to me. We went off to a yarn store together and looked through several books of doll patterns.
