Yosef Chaim’s Project Chesed

Shira Yehudit Djilmand

In our Talmud Torah, winter means Project Chesed. Every year around this time the principal calls us all into the dining room to talk to us.

Wednesday, January 13, 2016

“Well, boys! As I’m sure you all know, it’s time for our annual chesed project! I want every one of you to come up with a great idea for a chesed project and put it into action. Of course chesed has its own prize — the mitzvah you get! But there will also be prizes for everyone who takes part, and a grand prize for the boy whose project we decide is the most original and successful!”

As you can imagine, at recess time there was plenty of excited chatter.
