In the last month, though, polls now show the combative first-term senator beating Donald Trump in February’s Iowa caucus, the season’s first state to vote. How did Cruz make his leap to the head of the pack? And what’s his strategy to stay there? Nick Muzin, a top Cruz strategist and an Orthodox Jew, shares with Mishpacha the plan to bring Cruz all the way to the White House.
