and driving force behind the Mishpacha Publishing Group, has an extensive background in Torah learning, as well as keen business acumen. He studied full-time in the Chevron Yeshivah and kollel till the age of 26 when he initiated the Hebrew Mishpacha. Since 1990 he steadily developed his brainstorm from a fledgling magazine to a sophisticated international publication with a substantial, loyal readership that grows from year to year. He lives with his family in Jerusalem.
combines his solid background in Torah study with decades of diverse experience in writing, speaking, and disseminating Torah ideals. Rabbi Grylak learned in Kol Torah and the Ponovezher kollel, later teaching Torah in Brazil and in an Israeli hesder yeshivah. For close to a decade, he penned a column in the secular paper Maariv, presenting Torah ideals in a language and style palatable to the average Israeli. Rabbi Grylak went on to found Yated Ne’eman and served as editor-in-chief for its first two years in print. In addition to writing over twenty sefarim on Judaism and Torah topics, he has also authored many vastly popular novels. For the past twelve years, he has served as editor-in-chief of Mishpacha. He lives with his family in Jerusalem.
is a graduate of Hunter College in New York City. She made aliyah with her husband in 1992, and lives with her family in a suburb outside of Jerusalem. Mrs. Safran has been writing and publishing from a very young age, later moving on to professional editing. Her role in Mishpacha utilizes her considerable writing talent, keen editing skills, and sensitivity, resulting in a custom-tailored product eminently suited to the unique needs of its Orthodox readership.
is a Borough Park native who brings a wealth of experience in journalism and the business world to his role at Mishpacha. Mr. Rose graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and spent nearly a decade as a print and broadcast journalist, winning awards from the Associated Press for his news coverage. He then pursued a longtime interest in finance and turned it into a career, serving as an investment advisor at Dean Witter in Miami, Florida, for eight years. On moving to Israel with his family in July 1993, Mr. Rose served as a money manager for several private clients. After a two-year leave of absence to learn in kollel, he spent three years as Project Manager for the JerusalemCom public relations firm before joining Mishpacha in March of 2004.
joined Mishpacha after thirty years of experience in graphic arts. Tuvia exhibited in New York City galleries in the 1970's and 1980's and has been featured in Popular Photography, the Soho News, Art News, etc. Mr. Heller later began working in the field of Internet 3d graphics, where his work is featured on the internet's Cycore 3D site. He currently serves as webmaster of Mishpacha’s internet site.
brings over 25 years of computer technology expertise to Mishpacha. His knowledge and experience range from artificial intelligence research to user interface construction to internet communications protocols. He keeps Mishpacha on the forefront of information technology, allowing the magazine to continue to serve a wide international audience of readers. Mr. Robinson manages a web development team called Gallery Robinson ».
