As you can imagine, every Yom Tov in the time of the Beis HaMikdash was very special. But Yom Kippur was unique; the entire service of the day was carried out by one person only — the Kohein Gadol. All the other Kohanim were passive observers on this day. Let’s find out a little about what went on, so that when we, b’ezras Hashem, get to see it ourselves when Mashiach comes, we’ll be prepared!
